Pop art is an art movement which began in 1950s and popularised in 1960s and 1970s.
It was vastly practiced in USA and UK. It focuses on mass audience and is derived from advertisements, comic strips and alike. A group of artists in London began to use the term "PoP" in their artwork. Bright colors are used in this style of art.
