About Jahnavi KJ

Jahnavi is a self-taught artist. Born in Mysore and brought-up in Mysore and Bangalore, she is keen on impressionism and is inspired by works of Claude Monet and Camille Pissarro. Grand daughter of Late Prof. Subbaraya KV she has completed her Engineering and Masters from University of Mysore. With constant support from her parents Dr.Janardhan KS and Vrinda CM carnatic classical vocalist, and advices from senior artists, she has constantly improvised her skills. She has completed her Junior exams in Carnatic classical vocals and Bharatnatyam. Nature is her everyday motivation to keep painting. Her skills in Composition and usage of colours are appreciated.
